For the first piece in color, we were assigned to do a still life utilizing only the primary triad. The composition needed to include drapery, reflective surfaces, as well as some other object utilizing all of the primary triad. I decided to focus on the side of a pot as well as continuing my theme of draped registers. I would say that the highlight of this piece, however, is the reflective sphere in the lower part of the composition. The piece holds both contrast and extreme brights within the reflected colors.
