My name is Isabel Dennis. I am currently a rising senior Studio Art B.A. major at Messiah University. I am concentrating in Graphic Design and Digital media and minoring in Marketing. I aspire to use these courseloads to work in a digital marketing field with branding and assisting a brand better themselves. I enjoy working through ideas in the Adobe Suite as well as Procreate. My design process really focuses on how to get each individual detail worked out to its best outcome. I have worked through a number of projects outside of school such as the Newark International Airport mural program, where they reached out to local New Jersey artists to design murals in competition for their new terminal. I, alongside ten other high school students, designed what we call the “Faces of New Jersey” representing different people from our area and landmarks that we felt represent New Jersey to travelers. I also worked with author Odelaisy Senior to create a cover for her memoir, Elusive Jewels.

About Me

Design Statement

I believe good design is consistent design. I try to make my designs as cohesive and clear as possible. I want them to be easily understood by the mass population. Graphic design is all about using type and images to portray a message or idea. I think the best way to do that is to have it be simple and minimalistic. Looking at my works, you can see a clear theme of minimalism throughout my wide spread works. But I also want my works to pop. Finding a healthy medium between the simplicity that I crave but also the wow factor that brings the viewer in is something that I pride myself in doing.
