A project that we had for my Graphic Desing history course was researching an element of graphic design that stood out to us. I chose to research Andy Warhol and his impact on the Graphic Design world. The research project required us to write a five page paper and display that through an academic poster. I wanted to incorporate as much white space as possible as well as many Warhol works into the final design. The color scheme was also important to me since so many of Warhol’s works are immediately recognizable. I wanted the color to fit in with the overall style so I took the colors primarily from his Campbell soup series.
