This project was especially close to my heart. My grandparents celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary back in 2024 and for the party I had the opportunity to create various designs. It started out with just a poster going into depth with their marriage such as how their family has grown and the cities they lived in when my grandfather was in the military. I even added the newspaper clipping announcing their engagement. This was a hit for the party and even more fun for me to create. It gave me the opportunity to learn more about them and their marriage. For that I am extremely thankful.

Poster
This was a 24 × 36 inch poster. It took the most time out of this project but very worth it. The New York Times article was posted about their engagement and then other facts about their family and marriage.

Guess the Price Game
This was one of the three games that I created for the party. I did research on average prices for every day items back in 1974 and had people guess the correct prices.

Facts about the Couple
This game was a big hit at the party. It includes just basic questions about them and their relationship. People were trying to ask the couple all the answers. It was a lot of fun for everyone!

Shoe Game
This was another hit. It gets guests to guess who is more likely to do certain things out of the couple. It got really fun when there was a tie!

QR Code Card
For a prty it is hard for the host to be present and take pictures. So we decided to place QR codes on different tables so that guests could add their own pictures later. The QR code linked to a Google Photos album where we all shared our photos. That way the couple could receive all of the pictures afterwards.
