Self portrait

This portrait was done by looking at myself in the mirror and then covering the canvas with a coffee stain. Where I put the darker spots I knew were going to be darker portions of my face. There definitely are some proportions issues but you can still tell who it is. For my first self portrait I think the piece is overall successful. This was an interesting process to go through with the combination of stain and charcoal.
