This was the second drawing in our portrait series for Drawing I. We had bust statues set up in the middle of the classroom and we each had to pick one to focus on. For this drawing I decided to do a side profile of the older man bust. This was the first time that we were able to use white charcoal was well as the regular charcoal and conte crayon. While the drawing is incomplete, throughout the class period I made a lot of progress on the features of the face as well as the techniques of portraiture.
